Tesla Japan’s Powerwall 3 launch event (the September 4, 2026 post from @teslajapan) marked the formal kickoff of the Japan-specific version of the product, under the theme “日本のために設計された Powerwall 3 — ここから、始まる” (“Powerwall 3 designed for Japan. From here, it begins”).

To support the Japan-specific Powerwall 3 rollout, I developed a six-part e-learning series that created interactive instructional material specifically for Certified Installers working with the Japan version of Powerwall 3. The modules covered commissioning and installation topics—including site preparation, electrical connections, configuration, safety procedures, and troubleshooting—using interactive elements to support hands-on learning aligned with Japan’s certifications, grid standards, and housing constraints. For localization, I used AI by first rewriting the English draft into controlled English to improve clarity and consistency, then leveraged AI tools to select and apply the correct kanji characters throughout the Japanese version. This approach ensured precise technical terminology while making the content readable and consistent for Japanese technicians. The finished series provided structured training that matched the product’s Japan-specific design and supported the broader launch.
